We tend to think of creativity as a skill of the imagination. There’s a special cultural mythos built around “idea people” – those who can envision something extraordinary – and there’s some validity to that. But it’s a tiny part of the battle.

If there was ever a time for sharing whatever you have to offer, it’s now. Individuals and companies in our community and everywhere else are showing their generosity and ingenuity, pivoting to give what they can to help others in this time.

Every film we do is, in a sense, a passion project. We bring the same level of attention and excitement to every film. But a few films are “passion projects” in the sense that we are our own client. It’s our idea, our own need, that kickstarts the project.

All forms of creating can inspire each other. Books can inspire music, and architecture can inspire paintings. So when we got the chance to work with Snyder’s furniture – a high-quality customizable furniture maker – we knew that the care and creativity they put into their products was going to inspire some of our best work.

After outlast round of films for PSECU, we sat down in Josh Henry’s office and scrutinized them. They were some of the best work we’d ever done. We loved them. The client loved them. They looked great and made PSECU look great. We wanted to do even better.

Cultivating a world class industry deeply rooted here in our home state is one of our foundational priorities, and the people we’ve gotten to work with over the last few years have only deepened our belief that Pennsylvania creatives, crew, and talent have a lot to share with the world.

Making one film is a creative challenge. Making a series of films with the same tone, look, and spirit is a creative feat.
